a mix of dev and SEO - built over 25+ years

I earned a degree in software engineering, started out in web development, and spent a decade building and managing websites. That foundation gave me a deep understanding of how sites are structured and how they behave - which turned out to be the perfect prep for SEO.

I first got into SEO at a small agency in Manchester - just three of us in an office when I started. Over the years, that team grew to over 30, and the digital world evolved just as fast. It was the ideal place to learn SEO, sharpen my technical skills, dive deep into analytics and reporting, and work directly with clients on real-world challenges.

For the last 8+ years, I've worked freelance in SEO and analytics - helping businesses of all sizes fix their visibility, improve their tracking, and get their sites running properly.
