With over 25 years of hands-on website experience and 9 years as a full-time freelancer, I help businesses find and fix the SEO issues that are holding their websites back. I've shaped my services around what businesses actually need. This isn't theory - it's the result of fixing real problems on real websites, every day.
Clients usually come to me when something's stuck, broken, or holding them back. Maybe it's an SEO audit to find out what's going wrong. Maybe they're planning a site migration and want it handled properly. Or maybe the tracking's a mess, or the site just isn't pulling in the traffic it should.
Whatever the issue, these are the four areas I'm called in to sort most often. If you're here, there's a good chance one of them sounds familiar.

When you work with me, you deal directly with the person reviewing your website, identifying the issues and carrying out the work. There is no account manager passing information between you and a separate delivery team, so I can get to know your website, understand your priorities and respond quickly when something needs attention.
With more than 25 years of hands-on website experience and nine years working full-time as a freelancer, I bring practical SEO, technical and tracking experience to every project. Agencies can be the right fit for larger or multi-channel campaigns, but if you need experienced, hands-on support without unnecessary layers, I offer a direct, flexible and straightforward way of working.
I start by understanding what is happening, what is not working and what is likely to have the biggest impact. That means looking beyond individual issues to understand how your content, technical setup, site structure, tracking and wider business goals fit together.
From there, I prioritise the work so you are not left with a long list of recommendations and no clear starting point. I explain what needs fixing, why it matters and what should be tackled first, then support you with implementation where needed.
I also make sure the right tracking is in place so we can measure the impact of the changes, spot any further issues and make decisions based on reliable data rather than guesswork.
Over the years, these are the four services I get asked for most. Each one is built around fixing real issues, not selling shiny packages. If one sounds like what you need, click through to find out more.
If your site isn't performing, I'll find out why. I run a full review, flag anything that's holding it back, and highlight opportunities to improve your visibility and performance.

I help identify the issues affecting your website's visibility, prioritise the work needed and recommend practical improvements. This can include technical SEO, content, site structure, migrations, tracking, indexing problems and wider performance analysis. I can also support implementation, work with your existing team and help measure the impact of any changes.
When you work with me, you deal directly with the person reviewing your website, making the recommendations and carrying out the work. There is no account manager or separate junior delivery team, which means communication is more direct and I can build a detailed understanding of your website and priorities. Agencies can be a good fit for larger multi-channel campaigns, but freelance consultancy often offers a more flexible and hands-on approach.
Yes. Many clients contact me because something specific is not working, such as a sudden traffic drop, indexing problem, migration issue, tracking error or technical fault. I can investigate the problem, explain what is happening and either fix it directly or provide clear recommendations for your developer or internal team.
Yes. I can provide ongoing support for businesses that need regular advice, monitoring, reporting and practical SEO input without hiring a full-time specialist. This can include reviewing performance, identifying new opportunities, checking planned website changes and helping your team make informed decisions.
The cost depends on the size of your website, the complexity of the work and the level of support required. A focused investigation or one-off piece of consultancy will usually cost less than a full website audit, migration or ongoing support arrangement. I provide a clear scope and cost before work begins, so you know what is included and what the likely next steps will be.
It depends on the issue being addressed, the competitiveness of your market and how quickly recommendations can be implemented. Technical fixes can sometimes produce improvements relatively quickly, while content, authority and broader visibility work usually take longer. I focus on identifying the changes most likely to have an impact and making sure the right tracking is in place to measure progress.
Yes. I work with businesses of different sizes, including small businesses that need practical support without the cost or complexity of a large agency. The work can be shaped around your priorities, available budget and internal resources, whether you need help with a specific issue or a wider review of your website.
Yes. I regularly work alongside developers, designers, marketing teams and external agencies. I can explain what needs to change, provide clear technical requirements, review work before it goes live and help make sure SEO and tracking considerations are included throughout the project.
